Mission Statement

We, the Anticommentist Party, hold that commenting code is made necessary principally by bad design and bad programming habits and seek to promote clean, readable, deterministic code; the kind that obviates comments.

Our aim is to raise awareness of techniques that make code faster, easier to understand, simpler to maintain, and to mock the ever-loving snot out of those who program poorly enough to necessitate comments.

This site serves to list real-world examples of what to do and what not to do (since the Internet's full of so many geniuses, we're going to assume that you'll see more bad examples than you will good ones).

If you have any submissions, comments, or hate-mail for this site, please visit our contact page.
